Everyone’s a Brand: Personal Branding in a Digital World
The Price of Business Digital Network has a new series of outstanding commentaries from thought leaders. This is one in that series.

You don’t exist today if you cannot be found online. If you don’t define your brand then others will brand you instead. Having a brand is what helps you stand out from all the noise/competition. The single most important ingredient to creating a great brand is authenticity. The key is to pick your platform, it doesn’t matter which ones you choose, just pick one or 2 that are authentic to you. You don’t need to blog or be on all social media platforms but make sure you are active on the ones where you are. If your audiences don’t use Facebook/Twitter/Instagram to find you then you don’t need to make them a priority. For professional service businesses like mine, leveraging LinkedIn matters most.
