Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, welcomed Dr. Terry McIvor to provide another commentary in a series.

Long cloaked in mystery, consciousness has now been linked to the quantum realm in a hypothesis known as the quantum impulse theory. It proposes that consciousness arises from quantum fluctuations in our brain, contradicting the traditional idea that consciousness is linked to the electrical and chemical activity of the brain. The brain’s faster processing speed and internal quantum entanglement support this idea. This hypothesis, however, remains contentious and needs more evidence, with unanswered issues regarding how quantum interactions give rise to subjective experience. Additional study is required to completely comprehend the brain-consciousness interaction and validate the quantum impulse theory.
