The title of the article is “What is Generational Wealth”, the key takeaways of their definition of generational wealth are, “Generational wealth refers to assets passed by one generation of a family to the next. In some cases, assets are transferred after death in the form of an inheritance. In others they are passed to the next generation while the giver is still alive.”

The one thing I realized was missing is Financial Literacy and Education! Understanding how the power of financial literacy can change the trajectory of our lives, I think this the greatest asset someone can give to their family. Being given monetary assets is wonderful, but what happens when there is no understanding of how those assets should be managed? They lose the value they were supposed to bring, and the generational wealth may only reach one generation.
