Chris Christie Asks Why Biden Waited to Tell About the Documents Found at His Home
A lot of people have been wondering why former Vice President Joe Biden waited to tell the public about a recent discovery of classified government documents at his home. The answer may have something to do with timing.
Chris Christie, a former governor of New Jersey, has weighed in on the matter. He says that the discovery was a major surprise to him. This comes as the House Judiciary Committee announced that they would receive their first look at the documents.
Christie said that there were two things that were important to know. One was that the triumvirate of documents found in his home were more than just memos. Another was that the White House took the time to account for them.
According to an NBC News report, an employee of the Trump administration told federal agents that he moved some of the classified documents. Despite the claim, the White House has yet to acknowledge that it was the one to tell.
However, in other news, the FBI raided Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort and found a number of documents, including some of the same material that was found at Biden’s house. That same employee also told the FBI that President Trump had ordered him to hide some of the classified materials.
Previously, the White House had characterized the discovery as a mere memo. But it now seems that the most notable revelation was that five additional pages of classified documents were located at Biden’s home.
